Rummikub and Killer Bunnies.

So today was interesting, competitive and frankly quite peculiar.

It all kicked off at two o'clock when Benjamin and Rachel arrived. They brought their hilarity (eg. and I quote "wibbling the door knocker") whilst I held the keys that would unlock a crazy afternoon: Rummikub, millionaire shortbread and Killer Bunnies. 

The supposedly quite sane and menial game Rummikub turned out to be much too complicated for dear Benjamin which resulted in many laughs and cries of despair, specifically when he ended up winning...

With one game under our belts we felt pretty confident, confident enough to try our hands at the notoriously silly game that is Killer Bunnies. Never have I played a more destructive game; bunnies were being killed left right and centre from weapons such as 'cheeseballs' and the 'laser gun' alike. Carrots were won and lost and everyone's competitive side came out, which led to some cheeky bargaining and Rachel being distraught when I won the game.

I should probably mention that during this time James had turned up. Befuddled by the game (and our shouting) he decided to count carrots and money.

Thus the afternoon was gone; we caught a glimpse of a rather tame, nervous lion named Smudge and that was that, everyone went home. 






 

Dancing In The Park!

Yesterday I was in the park with Rachel, Cameran, Beckie and Dim. :)


It turns out we didn't go to the park in the rain for nothing, but to discover Cameran's secret talent. HE CAN DANCE!!!

He can't believe it himself!

He showed off his moves dancing to Hips Don't Lie by Shakira, twerking away and singing along too.

Computer Catastrophe

So the other day I was going through the my documents folder and I found a weird file.
It was in a format my computer didn't recognise and the name of the file was Cozur_Snowy_Grass_What so I assumed it was a file for one of my games that had got lost.
Anyway I tried to open this file in paint (since it sounded like a texture file) BUT I forgot to click a box down at the bottom of the window that said:

The file was actually a link to the image so, because I hadn't unticked this box, EVERY link in my whole computer was now opening in paint!
To put that in perspective, if you wanted to open Google Chrome, you couldn't just click the link on the desktop, you would have to go and wade through the the C drive to find it.
Like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

Once I was finally on the internet, I searched for ways to fix my problem. There were 3 ways that were given to me to fix it:

1. Pay Microsoft to fix it
2. Recode the computer
3. Download a file that would recode the computer

By this point I was getting desperate, I even asked Nathan for help. (He just laughed and left me to sort it myself.) Then after an hour I found out that it could be simply fixed by using the control panel... I felt so stupid.

Duke of Edinburgh expedition this weekend, can't wait, it is going to be painful but we will push through it. :-)

I had a Happy Meal.

Hello World!

Today I had a Happy Meal after completing mission impossible -I'll explain about that more a different time...

Anyway, I ordered my usual chicken nugget Happy Meal with coke & it was heaven. Absolute heaven. I was order number 98 of the day & I got another ''Despicable Me'' toy with it, too! I've decided to start a collection. They're just so adorable. Awh. Minions are great.

Trip to Town.

Headed into town today with James to try and find some shiny spiral hair accessories for Prom.

The chaos started as we got off the bus, I should mention at this point Jim is rather dopey! I asked if he wanted to grab a pasty before hitting the shops, he agreed. Then promptly walked in the opposite direction to the bakery right in front of him.

We got the shiny spiral hair things in the first shop, and then headed to find James a belt. You'd think it would be easier to find a belt for a guy than hair things for a girl.
Not Jim.
We must have spent an hour in TKMaxx looking at belts, each being dismissed as quickly as the last!

Surpirsingly we didn't find him a belt, but he bought some bracelets... They weren't even on his mental list.

The fun continued as we walked past a guy doing market research or charity work, the conversation went a little like this:
Man:"Hi, are you two friendly?"
Jim:"No! Oh wait?"
Rachel:*laughs at the confused look on Jim's face*
Jim:"I don't understand"
Man:"Can I talk to you about..."
Jim:"Ohh nononono"
It's safe to say we got a few funny looks!

Lets get this party started!

Okay. So I figured I'd get this kick started.

So today I managed get the frisbee stuck in the tree a couple times. Just as we were leaving the park I think I got it stuck up there for good, probably for as long as we live. It's a good thing Cam only found it on the floor anyway. I plan to buy two or three more anyway because frisbees are awesome!

I'll also try my best to buy some feet lollies for everyone! Yay!
